Preface
These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of goods and services by Grandeur Diamonds, a trading name of GD JEWELLERS LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“the customer”, “you”). By placing an order, booking a consultation, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms apply to all bespoke, made-to-order, and ready-to-wear jewellery sold by Grandeur Diamonds.
Eligible ready-to-ship jewellery may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unused, unworn, undamaged except for reasonable inspection, returned with original packaging and supplied documents, and has not been engraved, resized, altered or personalised. Ready to Ship is not currently live, so this wording applies only to future items explicitly classified as eligible ready-to-ship jewellery.
The 30-day change-of-mind return policy does not apply to bespoke jewellery, clearly personalised jewellery, engraved jewellery, jewellery resized or altered at the customer's request, jewellery manufactured to an individually agreed customer specification, custom designs or non-standard configurations, or items that cannot be resold for hygiene, condition, certification or personalisation reasons where a lawful exclusion applies.
Standard made-to-order jewellery is assessed by its actual configuration and is not automatically treated as exempt unless it is genuinely made to the customer's specification and the legal exemption applies.
If your jewellery is faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described or different from the agreed order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may request photographs, proof of purchase and return of the jewellery for inspection.
Where an item is confirmed as faulty, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the contract, Grandeur Diamonds will provide the remedy required by the circumstances and applicable consumer law. This may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.
Grandeur Diamonds will provide or reimburse reasonable return costs where a qualifying fault or supply error is confirmed. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
For destinations outside the supported online checkout list, please contact us before ordering so that we can confirm whether we can accept and deliver your order.
Orders sent outside the United Kingdom are sent duties unpaid unless Grandeur Diamonds explicitly confirms otherwise in writing. The recipient is responsible for import VAT, customs duties, brokerage, clearance charges and other local fees imposed in the destination country, which may be payable separately. Prices are set in GBP. At Stripe Checkout, Adaptive Pricing automatically converts the price into your local currency when available. The converted total and exchange rate are shown before you pay.
Grandeur Diamonds does not control customs charges or clearance delays.
Your first resize is complimentary on eligible rings, subject to inspection and technical feasibility.
The customer is responsible for tracked and fully insured delivery to Grandeur Diamonds. Following completion of an eligible complimentary first resize, Grandeur Diamonds will cover insured delivery back to the customer.
A manufacturing defect is a fault in the jewellery's materials, construction or original workmanship that occurred because the item was not manufactured or assembled to the required standard.
The lifetime manufacturing warranty excludes normal wear and tear, scratches, dents, surface marks, gradual metal or claw wear, tarnishing, patina, rhodium-plating wear, accidental damage, impact, misuse, loss, theft, unexplained disappearance, stone damage or loss caused by impact, damage or wear, chemical damage, changes in finger size or fit, cosmetic work where no defect exists, certificate-documented characteristics or inclusions, and damage caused or contributed to by unauthorised third-party repair, resizing or alteration.
Third-party work does not remove unrelated statutory rights, but the warranty does not cover damage or faults caused or contributed to by that work.
This lifetime warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Grandeur Diamonds offers complimentary cleaning for eligible jewellery. The customer is responsible for secure, tracked and fully insured delivery to us. Cleaning is subject to inspection and does not include repairs, restoration, polishing, rhodium plating or other chargeable work unless confirmed separately. Return-delivery arrangements and any applicable charges will be confirmed before the item is accepted for cleaning.
Return-delivery arrangements and any applicable charges will be confirmed before the item is accepted for cleaning.
Made to your agreed specification by our manufacturing partners in Hatton Garden, London.
This does not mean that every component, diamond, gemstone or raw material originates in the UK, and it does not claim ownership of a Hatton Garden workshop.
We will contact you when your jewellery is complete and ready for collection or delivery. Customers should arrange collection, settle any outstanding balance and provide any required delivery information within 90 days. If an item remains unclaimed, we may issue further written notice and charge reasonable storage or administration costs where permitted by the order terms and applicable law. Any treatment of the deposit, outstanding balance or unclaimed jewellery will be handled in accordance with the contract and applicable law.

Unauthorised access or misuse of our website is prohibited and may be reported.
We may transfer our rights under these Terms. Customers may not do so without consent.
Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
